Welcome to the website of the Green Club of José Martí MAST 6-12 Academy.  All students in grades six through twelve may participate in one or more of the projects we have planned for the 2014-2015 school year.  Visit each of the pages on this site to learn more about our activities.

The Green Club at Martí MAST seeks to empower students by increasing environmental awareness and instilling a sense of community stewardship towards the world in which we live.

The José Martí MAST Native Arboretum in August, 2014.  Note the rooftop view is no longer obscured by the old portable!

Progress as the old portables are torn down and removed.  More room for things to grow?

Thanks to the efforts of the Green Club summer maintenance crew, the native arboretum is looking fantastic after another rainy summer.  Weed control, mulch spreading, and mowing has provided us with a good start for this school year!
