Project Information

Latin America

Global Geography-  The students will be placed in groups of 3 and will pick a country to do research on.  Once the research phase is over, the students will create and present group power point presentations.  They will also participate in a webquest at www.geocities.com/Athens/Oracle/6676/travel.html

Language Arts-  The students are reading Latin poetry and folktales.

Math-  The students are using information from Latin American countries to solve mathematical problems.

Science-  The students are studying the Amazon Rainforest and will be attending a field trip to the Miami Metro Zoo to study the indigenous animals of the rain forest.

Spanish-  The students will be performing a Spanish play.

French-  The students are studying a French country in Latin America- French Guiana.
