ABOUT MYSELF

        My name is Elsa Iznaga. I live in Miami. I love my daughter. I enjoy learning and teaching languages. I like to travel all over the world to know new people and new cultures. I like  to learn from my students. I like to see them learning. I like to inspire them.

       I have a Master in Science. I also have two Bachelors, one in French  Literature and  Spanish Literature. I am a French and Spanish instructor. I teach Spanish  for non native speakers of Spanish at Miami Killian Senior High School.

      My professional life has always been centered on the teaching of languages. One of my goals is to gain an in-depth pedagogical knowledge and to be able to use updated techniques for my teaching purposes. I want to learn more on how technology can support teachers and students in the learning process.

     My responsibilities as a French and Spanish instructor are to prepare and create lesson plans, to coordinate and select materials for the intensive courses, and to evaluate students' level at the beginning of each course. As a teacher I feel happy when I see the positive results I observe in my classes on a daily basis. I am also proud to be able to keep enrollment and retention high in the areas I teach.
