The Challenge

School gardens and green spaces can help improve the biodiversity of a school's environment. Students will create a video showcasing how their gardens and/or green spaces help in the conservation and biodiversity of South Florida's unique ecosystems.

Our team dropped in on Mr. Kearns, sponsor of the Green Club. We asked him questions about our school garden and arboretum.

Mr. Kearns told us about when our green spaces were established and what the land had been used for before. He told us about how our garden and arboretum help with conseration and promote biodiversity. Mr. Keans also shared examples about how classes from different departments in our school use the arboretum.
