About the teacher
Ms. Carrera has a Bachelor's Degree in fine and graphic arts from Pratt Institute and a Master's degree in
Educational Technology from FIU. Before becoming a teacher
, she worked as a graphic artist for Warner Bros. designing and illustrating books for 10 years. She started teaching technology in the year 2000 first at Miami Edison High and now at Glades Middle School. Ms. Carrera has three sons and likes
art, cooking, gardening and traveling.
