Do teachers really go to the supermarket ?

Here is proof that there is life out of school !

This is my family: I've been married to my husband John for 34 years, and we have three children. Next to me: Jonathan (30 years old), Joanna (32), and John Jr. ( 25 ) 

John Jr. works at the  University of Central Florida as a Media Specialist. He loves animals and lives with his dog "Duchesse". Joanna works at the University of St Thomas in the Virgin Islands. She has a doctorate in Marine Biology and loves the ocean! (Check out an article  on her that came out in a magazine). Jonathan is a pilot working for U.S.Airways.  Jonathan is also in the Air Force, and  got married two years ago. 

 Apart from my children, I have two brothers and one sister, and many nieces and nephews. My dad is very important in my life, and I spend a lot of my time taking care of him. He suffered a stroke some time ago, and he now depends entirely on his family and on other people that love him. Please see a beautiful poem that he wrote some years ago.

I have been a teacher for 32 years, and have a Master's Degree in Spanish Education. My passion is teaching and  I just love working with children! 

My hobby is working in my garden and in the pond that we started a few years ago. I enjoy visiting and working in my pond. You can hear the water and see the fish and the birds that come to take a bath.
