How to Survive Second Grade

Our advise to First Graders :

1. Never forget your last name.

2. Come in the classroom by yourself and carry your own stuff.

3. Never destroy the experiments, especially if a visitor is in the class.

4. Always remember that everything you do counts for a grade.

5. Take things seriously and learn to control yourself.

6. Don't check your work with pencil. The teachers will think you want to change the answer.

7. Don't go to " la la land" when the teacher is talking.

8. Try not to make funny comments, and don't talk or hum.

9. Always say good morning when someone comes in.

10. Learn to go to the bathroom in two minutes.

11. Try not to fall on the cupcakes when there's a party.

12. Don't speak English in Spanish class, only speak English in English class.

13. Don't say " what ? " to the teachers, they don't like that word.

14. Try not to look in your book bag for the answers of tests.

15. Don't eat in class and don't write on your desk.

16. Forget about using cool clothes to school. Just wear your uniform everyday.

17. When you are asked to write a paragraph, don't ask dumb questions like : " How long does it have to be ?"

18. Always remember that teachers have x-ray vision .Don't

kick anybody under the table.
