Dear
Parents:
The following are supplies your child will need for the 2009-2010 school
year. Please make certain that your child is prepared and comes to school
with all the supplies by the end of the first week of school. Please do
not label the supplies except the backpack. These
supplies will be collected at the
beginning of the school year and will be distributed as needed in class. All supplies must be brought to
class each day.
To ease concerns of not having daily
supplies, certain items will be banked for classroom use.
****Feel free
to speak with me if you have questions or concerns.
NOTE:
The
plastic
expanding file
may be used for all academic subjects and will eliminate the need
to rummage through a messy book bag for homework or projects. Home
learning can be placed into above mentioned case, under a labeled title,
and brought to school ready to find easily and turn in happily.

Thank You,

This personal dictionary provides an initial
list of 500 high-frequency sight words, plus plenty of blank lines for
new words chosen by the student or teacher. A section in the back of the
book provides pages for color and number words, the names of friends and
family members, and other categories of words. The process of adding
words that are relevant and personally meaningful engages students in
learning and remembering. |
