About Me
My name is Elizabeth Rebustillo and I began teaching in 1996 after receiving my Bachelor's degree from Florida International University. I began my teaching career at Norland Elementary and in 1999 I began my Master's Degree from Florida State University. Once conferred in 2000 this degree qualified me to become a High School teacher therefore I moved on to Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High where I stayed for ten years.
When the opportunity came for me to come to Jose Marti MAST 6-12 Academy it was difficult because of the people I was leaving behind at HML. However, it has been an amazing adventure here at JMMA. I am excited and proud to be a part of a school that has a vision that every student will go to on to higher education. We are focused on equipping our students with the tools and skills they need to excel now and in the future. I love being a teacher and it is great to be a JMMA!
