Design Process:

Understand the Problem:

Create a custom  image to be used in your class T-shirt

Requirements

T-shirt must tell us about you

MUST CONTAIN:

At least 3 people, one must be famous for inventing something

At least 2 items  of technology

A hidden image

A word or phrase that  has meaning for you

At least two Images must be  manipulated with effects/filters to be unique

Create one Focal Point

Must show Variety of sizes

Design must have Harmony

Create a LARGE banner that says:

Glades Exploring Technology 2

or

  Glades Exploring Technology 3

Banner must include the school year :  20XX in a separate line

Research:

Look at t-shirts on our class website, in the internet,

find images that you like such as CD covers, movie posters, artwork,  etc. for inspiration.

Brainstorm/Thumbnails:

Start a list of ideas. Sketch as you brainstorm. Create at least 3 sketches.

Sketches should contain all required items. These will be graded.

Rough Sketch:

Simple layout in Photoshop of your idea without all the finishing touches.

Show all required elements and their size and positions. Later you can change things and switch some items for better ones.

This will be graded.

Prototype:

Finished file in Photoshop.

File Size: 8 x 10.5

File Resolution: 300

Test and Improve if necessary: Show prototype on screen to your peers and teacher. Get feedback, check for fulfillment of all requirements using the list above. Make changes if necessary.

Final Presentation:

Save as a JPEG and save it to the class project folder with your name and keyword (keep the psd file in case of corrections)

Print on T-Shirt.

This shirt design has very interesting images and a nice focal point in the words on top. Can you find the hidden image?

BUT...it is missing some requirements listed, and the banner is way too small.
